Every Person A Missionary

EPAM

Every Person a Missionary is an organic initiative, not an organizational program. It is loosely structured and relies on the initiative and movement of God’s Spirit through people who catch the vision and begin to gather in small cell groups to encourage and accompany one another along the EPAM way.

"What is God doing in the world and how can I help?"

The materials and processes provided here offer various ways for cross-marked disciples to explore this question in their own daily lives and in small communities who gather for Bible study, prayer, and mutual conversation.

The synod’s Mission, Vision, Core Values, and Operating Principles booklet provides the genesis for Every Person a Missionary; it’s the first tenet of our shared vision. Check out pages 2 and 3 for a description of the role of the missionary according to this vision. Please use and distribute these materials as you see fit. More importantly, whether you use these materials or something else, we invite you to enter every situation, read every newspaper, engage every conversation, honor every person with the question "What is God doing in the world and how can I help?"
