Positions to be elected at the 2009 I-K Synod Assembly:

Indiana-Kentucky Synod Vice President

In accordance with the Synod’s Constitution and By-Laws, the Synod Council has appointed a task force from among its members to shepherd the nomination and election process for this office. If you have any questions about this office or its responsibilities or would like to nominate yourself or another person for this office, please contact one of the members of this task force by April 10, 2009.

Responsibilities of the synod vice president

Election of a vice president

The I-K Synod Nominating Committee is responsible for nominating individuals for the following positions:

Two three-year clergy positions on Synod Council

One two-year youth position for Synod Council

Two six-year lay positions on the Consultation Committee: 1 lay male, 1 lay female

Indiana-Kentucky Conferences will nominate individuals for the following positions: Nominations to be forwarded to conference chairs or deans.

Two lay female positions for Synod Council from the Lafayette and Southeast Conferences (one from each conference)

Two lay male positions for Synod Council from the East Central Indiana and Northeast Conferences (one from each conference)
