Mission Moments       

Like breakouts, Mission Moments are “juried” for the sake of the overarching vision, agenda, and movement of Synod Assembly. 

Mission Moments are no more than 90 seconds long and are presented from a floor microphone at the invitation of the bishop.

Mission Moments are intended to be part education, part invitation, part inspiration, and part thank you.  

Ideally, each Mission Moment will open possibilities for other ministries by sharing concrete examples of ministry that have effectively made Christ known in a particular context.

Mission Moments are also tentatively scheduled and presenters must be relatively fluid in their availability. 

This year we are looking for Mission Moments that provide testimony about how the speaker embodies missionary living in her or his daily life. 

Requests for Mission Moments should be submitted to Pastor Bill Gafkjen no later than Monday, May 5, 2008.
