Lunch Conversations       

Another appropriate way to stimulate conversation around particular concerns, especially those with a fairly narrowly defined audience, is through Lunch Conversations on the middle day of the assembly. 

Typically, the director of Synod Assembly Planning works with the assembly venue to assign rooms, as available, for those who request them.  

Announcements about the conversations are made in distributed material and via PowerPoint before and during the assembly. 

Participants simply grab their box lunch and head to the assigned room at lunch time on that day. 

Again, those interested in sponsoring such conversations should contact Pastor Bill Gafkjen.  Requests for Lunch Conversations should be made no later than Friday, April 18, 2008.
