Breakout Sessions       

Due to space limitations and out of concern for the overarching vision of Synod Assembly, those who desire to sponsor a breakout session are asked to submit a proposal to the director of Synod Assembly Planning. 

Proposals should contain a title for the breakout, a brief description of the content, names and background of presenters, and contact information for a response from the director. 

Most breakouts should focus on empowering, equipping, and encouraging participants for ministry in their home communities, not simply sharing information or pitching programs. 

In addition, breakouts should appeal to a broad range of assembly participants. 

Because rental of equipment is typically expensive on site, presenters are asked to provide their own projection equipment.  Screens can be arranged through Pastor Bill Gafkjen on a cost-sharing basis. 

Proposals should be submitted to Pastor Bill Gafkjen no later than Friday, April 4, 2008.
